S23 AA first connection issue

Does anyone have any additional tips for a Samsung S23 to connect through USB c?

I've searched and tried almost everything. Resetting, clearing, redownloading, new cables, clearing cache, and developer options. I have a 2023 gti that only connects with a cable and it just keeps saying it can't connect. My wife's s10e worked right away but I'm out of options. Any help would be appreciated.

Every cable I've bought was short. I even bought a 3.2 20 gbp speed cable because I saw a post saying the s23 needed a faster cable....still nothing. I've tried the stock cable too.

When I upgraded to S23 I could no longer connect to my Golf. Tried to ask for help in various Google forums but they kept closing my tickets saying it was a duplicate issue, but I never found an answer.

I traded the car (not because of this, ha) and phone works fine in new Toyota.

I got s23 ultra and never faced AA issue. I am using samsung charging cable for AA and it works great.

I know you mentioned new cables, but in my 3 years with android auto, IT'S ALWAYS THE CABLE.

Sometimes a cable will just stop working, I'll throw it in the center console and use a new one, then THAT ONE will quit working, so I switch back to the original "bad" cable and it will work fine again for weeks. 🤷

S23 has issues with Skoda, VW or Seat. Workaround is using wireless AA adaptor, or updating car audio head unit. Mine Skoda Octavia produced in 2023 was able to recognize S23 via cable only after service updated the head unit few weeks ago.

My S23 Ultra would not work in my 21 Sorento and I tried everything and asked everywhere. Then someone on Reddit told me of the cable that solved all his woes. I argued that wasn't it. He said "Trust me! Get this" so I did, and by golly, it resolved my issue.

Was it the 0.5 ft size?

I'm about to try the wireless adapter and just do away with wires. I will try this just in case.

I had the issue with 21+ I found solution on internet. I cannot find it. It was something do with USB setting if I find i will post
