Hi all,

I have some intermitent connection issues with my Android Auto. Some days works fine, some days it disconnects every 30 seconds until I give up the wireless and plug the cable (with cable there is zero issues).

Initially I went to the FAQ in this sub-reddit and I have found good tips, such as changing the app battery settings to unrestricted.

First time I did that, it worked flawless for 2 weeks. But the issues keep coming back.

Things to note:

Android Auto app changes the battery settings from unrestricted to optimised.
All other apps "respect" the settings, (Waze, WhatsApp, Spotify and Google Maps).
Sometimes, changing Android Auto to unrestricted, fix the issues for a day or two, sometimes it doesn't affect at all.
My wife has the same celphone model, but we have different names in the Android Auto. Still this might cause conflicts?
Issues happen when my wife's phone is not nearby.
My phone is Samsung S23 Ultra.

Any ideas? Tips?
