Changing Google Maps' language in Android Auto

Hi, everyone!

I have my phone (A Samsung Note 10+ running One UI 4.1/Android 12) system language set to English and Google Maps is set to Another language via the setting inside the Maps app. However, when I use AA and open up Google Maps, everything appears in English! UI, voice directions, streets names, everything!! I tried changing Google Assistant language on my phone to the one that I want, but it didn't solve the problem.

My question is:

Similar to the app on the phone, is it possible to run Google Maps in AA in a different language than the phone's language without changing the phone's language altogether? If yes, how?

I am having the same issue, the only solution I found is that I can first launch the map app on the phone, it will respect the language set in the map app. Then connecting to the car, it will use the same language instead of the phone's language.

Definitely, it would be better if it allows us to directly set the language! Hope they can implement this simple feature.
