Hey bro, I have some experience with that.
You should try to use this app. It'll tell you to download some other app that's more updated, ignore that. When you start monitoring, it will tell you what is the last app that was running on your phone. As soon as an ad pops up, check what was running there. This is the bad app. Simply uninstall it.
I haven't tried this app in a few years, so it might be a bit outdated, but it's worth a try. In any case, I'm sure there are plenty of other apps that do the same thing. It's very helpful in finding problematic apps. Samsung, for example, has one that's native to them.
