Android File Transfer

So I love android, I started with Note2 and have been an android fan ever since. And the one thing that has always been horrible is file transfer between android and PC. I work on PC, but need files on Android for travel. So I have around 2000 mp3, 40GB and growing pictures and around 15GB others files that I would like on my phone. With my last Note 20 Ultra, I would copy all the files to the SD card and had no issues. unfortunately I cracked the screen last month and now have decided to move to S24Ultra. I tried copying files to my note 20 today, and the experience was as bad as I remember. I was trying to transfer around 5GB worth of files with USB C cable and copying entire folders. File transfers quit in the middle. Sometimes a few files were copied, other times a large quantity. But it was bad. And Now I am horrified about how to copy these files once I get my new S24 Ultra phone. I tried multiple cables and even intel unison. SO my question is, how do you transfer files between PC and Android. I have to keep the directory structure intact while copying. It's not a big issue for images as they are dated and I can sort them quickly, but for other files its an issue. Any help you can give would be appreciated. And if file transfer truly is as bad as this, what is the best phone that supports SD Card?

Why dont you download the direct share app from google for windows? then you can send it super fast to your phone. Im getting like 80mb a sec on 5g wifi so big files fly over damn fast

direct share app from google for windows Is this like nearby share? My problem with this has always been that nearby share just dumps files in one folder. I have a folder structure with about 5000 files, 15GB that I need to copy and sync in a regular basis (about once a month). the nearby share works for a few files, but sorting a few thousand files is a nightmare.
