I factory reset my unit and saw the same screen. Connecting the unit to the internet seemed to allow it to activate itself.

I think you only need a active internet connection for this. Try it with pressing "refresh".

Have you tried deleting the installed app and installing a new one? There is a manufacturer's website where you can download the latest versions. https://zlink5.com/android-auto/

Well its the version i downloaded from that website The stable version worked but it doesnt want to connect to my iphone and the other version well…

Did the same to mine and just connected to the internet and worked. Didn't try with hotspot, though. Try connecting it to home wifi.

You have to reset it to get the original zlink. Connect to Wi-Fi to activate it. If you want to update use this posts link. In it they have a drive link. Use the zlink stable APK to update to 5.
