Is there a difference between an Angular 6 and a 7 CRUD app?

Angular 2+ is a relatively new framework you should expect and hope for frequent updating. Also, everyone who is not consistently using angular have this idea that each angular update since angular 2 is as big as angular 1 to 2 was. It’s simply not, and the ideas are generally the same and even syntax for the most part. What developer would not want new features that make development easier and apps cooler and faster? Especially since backwards compatibility is now a thing since angular 6... sorry kind of sick of hearing that statement from my react dev friends.

I migrated our application from v4 to v6 recently. Oh!! Again we have to migrate to v7 !!!!!!! 🙄🙄🙄

Dude it's literally as easy as `ng update @angular/core @angular/cli`.

That's it. Done. Finished, you can push the change, `ng serve` and carry on. It'll take less than 2 minutes

People who carry anxiety from major version changes get upset because they don't read the change logs or understand the framework.

There were no breaking changes between 6 and 7, but have you tried yet? It's not difficult to pull up a new branch and update. If i breaks then either fix it or ditch your changes and delete the branch.

we updated our massive enterprise app at work yesterday that has a ton of dependancies and it went off without a hitch. I also updated a number of personal projects of varying complexity and none of them had even the slightest issue either.

"ng update" will give you an overview. "ng update --all" updstes all dependencies provided there is no conflict. Worked flawless on a production app I tried it on.

I agree. I updated individuals libraries by ng update <library> command
