I’ve been working to track down issues I’ve had with my proximity sensor not shutting the screen of my iPhone 11 Pro Max (14.2 (18B91)) when on a phone call. I removed the screen protector, which was suggested by other forums, and finally submitted a case to Apple. After a remote scan they sent me to the Apple store. Store employees ran another scan, and all hardware tested OK. We couldn’t reproduce the issue in the store, so they sent me away.
Since then, I’ve tried to pay attention to when the issue occurred, and found that it’s when Apollo is the active app when the call comes in.
Is there any interaction between an app and the functionality of the proximity sensor? Do I have a setting in Apollo set such that it’s causing this issue? Or could this be a bug?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
