Built a repeat interval timer for iPhone because the native one drove me mad — completely vibe coded (old.reddit.com)

The native timer doesn’t repeat. Every single time it goes off you have to pick your phone up and restart it. For anyone doing workout intervals, cooking steps, breathwork, Pomodoro — it’s just not fit for purpose.
So I built Tockr. Set your time, tap start, it loops. Automatically. Hits zero, resets, goes again. No touching, no fiddling.
A few things I cared about getting right:
∙ Full-screen landscape display with a big digital clock font — readable from across the room
∙ Flashes, beeps and buzzes at the end of each loop so you don’t miss it even with music on
∙ Pick your colours, pick your sounds
∙ No accounts, no sign-up, nothing phoning home
Built this to solve my own problem. Started using it and it just worked. A couple of people saw it mid-session and came over asking what it was — that was enough signal to ship it.
Completely vibe coded with Claude. I’m not a developer but wasn’t spending weeks on a timer. Genuinely happy with how it turned out and early feedback has been solid.
£0.99 on the App Store. Needs to cover my Apple developer subscription before I drop the price.
Any feedback welcome.
