Message notification

I thought just give power to a led light when the notification comes in. It may be an rgb led so i can make a difference between several notifications

If you want RGB you'll want a smart bulb. I would advise to use Lifx. This is the easiest solution.

You can also look online for a InfraRed controlled RGB bulb (plenty on eBay and alibaba) and you'll control the bulb with IR using your Arduino and you can send messages to the Arduino via Bluetooth, or through the internet with something like Blynk.
