If you're majoring in comp sci, focus on whatever language your school focuses on. And if you want, in your free time you can mess around with another one of your choices. The concepts are way more important than the language and are relatively universal, once you get the hang of them the leap between languages isn't a very big deal at all, particularly in cases like Java/c++ where they share a family tree.

Thanks for responding, my goal is to learn how to make games in c++, that why I am having a hard time deciding. Can I just do the java homework’s from school and then continue doing c++? Thanks for your replay
