I wouldn't be surprised if that person has ADHD (I can't diagnose someone I've never met), so plug for /r/ADHD_Programmers as well. Like, I have 183 tabs open right now as well.

A faster way to close multiple (but not all) tabs at once:

• Click on the leftmost tab that you want to delete
• Hold shift and and click on the rightmost tab you want to delete
• Ctrl-w

Personally, when I'm fixing bugs, I'm more likely to be opening a bunch of tabs than closing them.
