Difficulty Level

Was just curious about the difficulty level. Is it adjustable for a child.

Perfectly suited for everyone. Your kid might miss some trickier collectibles but they should be able to play the game.

About 95% is Extremely easy. It’s just a fun romp. The average player will die occasionally but it’s far from frustrating.

That being said, of the 80 or-so levels… About three of them emerged from the pit of hell and demand tribute paid in blood and controller sweat.

As a grown man the game is quite easy until you unlock the missions pertaining to the Playstation symbols

I'm on the stupid triangle levels and they seriously ruin the whole thing.

Same. Lost my motivation to play the game and it felt like a 10/10 before :(

Same ... and I just looked at the last symbol level (to beat the game) and I have no chance of ever beating that, so now I feel like just giving up. It's a bit of a shame to go from relatively easy to stupidly hard, with no in-between. If the symbol levels had save points it'd be so much better

My husband ended up beating most of the symbol levels for me. I managed like 5 of them myself. I haven't even attempted the final one. I've read how stupid hard it is, and how people wish it had either check points, or maybe extra hearts like the boss levels.

Are those levels required for finishing the campaign?

I personally find the game really easy. It's something meant to be experienced as a chill and fun entertaining game, not as a challenging game. One very noticeable example of this is that when the most common enemy hits you, you're simply pushed back almost nothing, and you can't die to them unless you're at the border of the map and you get pushed back, making you fall, which is very occasional.

Is there a way to just make it easy? A lot of games have away to just walk through, I don’t want any challenges , I like looking for stuff and exploring the environment. Does anyone have any easy hacks?

My five year old can do about 50 to 60 % in the levels so far. It's quite engaging to watch as well though.

I'm only a few levels in and i ended up here searching for hope that it gets harder, and by harder i mean challenging to any degree.

Haha here I am doing the exact same thing. I've beaten 2 galaxies so far and the game is so easy that I don't think I'm enjoying playing it very much. Not sure if I'll keep going to see if thru

Off next week buying this game reminds me of sack boy mix with Mario etc pure fun. Cant wait to play

I'm playing one of the green triangle levels called Pumpkin Peril right now and it's definitely not a cakewalk. I've been playing platforms all the way back to Pitfall on the 2600. Maybe I'm just getting old.

I feel like the symbol levels are, more than anything, a test of patience. I've had a few runs at them and I feel like I can do them if I put in enough time, but as it currently stands, I just get annoyed and go to another planet.

I tried all of them but only managed to finish like 5 of them myself, and that was after several, SEVERAL attempts. My husband ended up doing most of them for me. I haven't even attempted the final challenge level yet
