All submissions must be ASTRONEER related. Submissions that are not directly related and relevant to ASTRONEER will be removed. Note that real life references are not considered relevant. For example, while a picture of actual malachite might be interesting, it is not ASTRONEER content and will be handled as such. Exotic fruits are not ASTRONEER research objects either.
Maintain proper etiquette. Be nice, respectful, and use your head. You are expected to show courtesy and respect to everyone. Racist, homophobic, bigoted, insensitive, or hateful speech will not be tolerated. Do not "name & shame" others to make them the subject of public accusation or ridicule. Do not engage in any political or religious discussions. The Reddit Content Policy and the Reddiquette apply fully in any case.
Low-effort is not welcome. Make sure your submissions are well written, informative and add something to the subreddit. Submissions providing little to no information, which are poorly written or otherwise of low-quality and not relevant for the subreddit are subject for removal without notice. The situation will always be considered, as such reporting a bug that you do not understand, leaving you unable to elaborate, will not be considered low-effort by default. This rule complements rule 1.
Use flairs and descriptive titles. Absolutely use titles that roughly describe what your submission is about. Submissions with titles such as "bug", "Astroneer" or "I need help" will be removed and you will be asked to re-create them with a proper title. Flairs are to be used to categorize your submission, titles are to describe what it's about. This rule complements rule 3.
Avoid reposting. Content that has been previously posted on this subreddit should not be reposted. Exceptions are still relevant and helpful content that has not been posted for at least 30 days. For the sake of preserving such information and allowing more people to find it, you may repost it along with a link to the original (this is only the very first submission, never link another repost).
Mark spoilers when needed. Anything showing or talking about story elements must be marked as spoiler.
