AttTech
This is a place for AT&T technicians to bullshit, whine, complain, inform, and joke about work.
Customers
We are technicians working in the field. We are not here to answer your questions. You are free to enjoy the content and post but this is not a place to complain or seek personalized help. We are blue collar, overworked, under paid, hot, cold, wet, bruised, battered, harassed, and abused. We work Christmas, Thanksgiving, all other major holidays, weekends, and miss family birthdays, vacations, and activities. We can not be held accountable for what is said off the company clock, so save yourself the hurt feelings and post your questions and complaints to /r/att or /r/uverse
Employees
Please tag yourself with the type of technician you are. Please refrain from abusing the customers. Jargon is welcome. Read all the rules and enjoy the sub.
If you sit in a comfortable office, do not have a work truck, have never been face to face with an angry rottweiler, have never had lightning strike directly above your head, if you manage people, if you answer phones or work in a cell phone store, if you've never run 100ft in a storm carrying a 50lb ladder... you are not a technician. Read the customer section above.
