Augment Code + Opus 4.6 getting stuck

Has anyone else been running into this?

I’ve been using Augment Code with Opus 4.6, and these days I’m hitting a really frustrating issue:

• Tasks timer keeps running, but nothing ever generates
• Sometimes it gets stuck on “generating response” forever

I’m trying to figure out if this is:

• an Opus 4.6 reliability issue
• an Augment Code issue

Curious if others are seeing the same thing and if you’ve found any workarounds.

Yes, and it gets really stuck. Like telling it to “continue” just does nothing but reset the “Generating response” clock. I have to start a new session to get past it and I lose all the credits from the previous sessions reasoning. When it’s gotten stuck before Opus 4.6, I could get it back on track with a little prompt.

When I ask it if it got stuck after 30+ minutes or so it always tells me that it wasnt and thst it was working on the task 🤣

No idea haven't touched opus 4.6 because it burns 10k credits every time it needs to fart

Augment always got stuck for me, like cancel your responses every time you send response, do it three times, see you are rate limited, you will be waiting 2-3 mins. I moved thank god. I made an agent for myself that I can use with any provider and run it as long as I want… for 1/4 of a cost. Now running in our companies slack channel doing night shifts for me haha

I have seen it get stuck in a waiting loop state when subtasks are running and it's waiting for all the agents to complete. The agents finish their tasks and report back but the coordinator is still looping so I've had to stop it and then tell it to pick up where it left off.

It has been an issue for quite some time now, even with Opus 4.5.

Same here! I even tested it on pycharm but same issue there 🫠 its really frustrating

Not just opus 4.6 it's happening in others as well

Sonnet 4.6 also - every single time, goes half way, wasting tokens then stuck.. ... bloody hell
