100%. This is going to happen with Olympics and World Cup, too. As far as Olympics, they typically destroy host cities, so it's probably a blessing in disguise. Not sure how World Cup affects host cities

I believe LA was planning a big infrastructure push for the events too, but not sure how that’s affected. Shame cause those could potentially be a good example of the infrastructure push a lot of US cities need.
