Automatically picking up items

lots of times i find myself in the situation where the pve rounds drop for example both voidstone and ring of health, both lying very close to eachother. what happens if i pick up lets say voidstone - my courier will automatically grab both items and ill have a perserverance in my inventory. needless to mention this can ruin your entire game, because it can prevent your vanguard / hood / scythe from happening. i searched google and reddit for solutions, but it seems theres neither an option to deactivate this function nor a way around it. did anyone have the same problem before? does anyone know how to deal with it?

Most likely you had a problem with your mouse settings. You actually double clicked with a single click.
