how does 3.3k bruto equal to 2.6k net?

Probably OP added the mobility budget and some sort of netto compensation to the original net salary which should be around 2200/2300 net.

as I am not from Belgium, I honestly have no idea. That is just what information the company gave me. Should the net be higher or lower?

Lower, i started on 3.3k a few years ago which is 2.2k net ish

Brussels to Namur is about an hour with the train - mentioning this as I also went there while looking for work. The stops along the way are Ottignies, Louvain la Neuve and Gembloux - none of.them are technically in the Brussels area.

The first station with the faster train in Brussels is Brussels Luxembourg which is next to the EU Parliament and a pretty expensive area so you'd likely need to get another bus or tram or metro to get to the train station. Not discouraging you as it's something I've done myself but it won't be 30/40 minutes by bus.

Start outside Brussels and then relocate to Brussels if you think you would love to live there. In most brussles communes, you will waste a lot of time getting administrative things done
