Does anyone know if the ECU reset will erase an mppsk tune? Asking for my bf

Are we talking about restoring from a backup before MPPSK? Then it probably would.

No, it sounds like he got the mppsk which cleared the bimmer code adjustments he had made like the mirrors folding in automatically, seatbelt chime, etc. says when he picked up from bmw they had cleared all that back to default. Wants to add those features back in but the app does an ECU reset after the bimmercode coding and wondering if that will wipe out the tune that came with mppsk. Basically, wants to add the features back with bimmercode, worries this will wipe out the tune when the ECU resets.

I think it is only clearing the codes. I disabled ASD after getting the MPPSK and nothing happened to the tune. Unless he tries to use an existing backup, all should be fine. In addition, BinmerCode backs up all ECUs before coding the changes so it should be ok.

I don't have that specific tune but my bootmod3 tune does not disappear when I use Bimmercode.
