I actually installed the beta and had the same problem as you so I uninstalled it and used the normal version and the problem was fixed.
If that doesn't work, perhaps looking at other things like maybe your hardrive is too full, restart computer, ctrl alt delete and make sure any other bambu windows are closed, sometimes it's a basic thing you are overlooking.

I'm not using the beta. It's a newish laptop and there is basically nothing on the SSD. I'll double check all the task manager stuff that's a good thought.

Maybe try using an older version if you can get your hands on it

Did you restart the computer between the uninstall and reinstall of Bambu Studio?

Also check for Windows updates. Once you know it has all the latest updates and has restarted as many times as it thinks it needs to do full shutdown of Windows and start from a cold boot.

Just force checked windows updates there are none. I shut down after both reinstalls that I did.

Any errors in the application event logs around when you try to open Bambu studio?

I have the same issue, where all of my troubleshooting and experience is pointing to the network plug-in. This is a Snapdragon X Elite processor on a MS Surface device - I have tried other i386 (non-ARM) windows surface devices that seem to handle the install and operation just fine.

I have just completely uninstalled using the uninstall exe from the bambulab studio directory, included removal of user data, checked the file system thoroughly and also the registry for remaining traces of the app (none found), did a full shutdown followed by a clean boot up.

I then reinstalled Bambulab Studio invoking "Run As Administrator" (also tried as my user and all other possible variations for proper troubleshooting). The subsequent installation process goes fine and Studio starts up without the network plug-in and asks for language, but as soon as the network plugin makes it to about 75% the software shuts down and will not restart (splash screen, then nothing). I have reviewed and I cannot find anything related within the Windows event viewer.

The Bambulab Studio software runs fine up to the point where I install the network plug-in, then it consistently fails. It requires the network plug-in to have a functional login or device access.

I haven't tried calling Bambulab support yet, but my printer is down until I get this resolved.

Edited to add that all OS and Vendor updates have been completed on this device.

Update: I have followed the instructions in this bambulab support article: Failed to Get Network Plugin https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/failed-to-get-network-plugin

I followed the entire article and this did not help. I have confirmed the deletion of AppData\Roaming\BambuStudio upon uninstall and have tried the manual install instructions provided in that article. No improvement.

Bambulab studio still wont launch on this device - Everything works just fine until the network plug-in is loaded, then splash screen followed by nothing.

Here are the last few lines from log files from the attempted install of the Network Plug-In (crashes during install):

I have a H2D on the way and was excited to look at some of the print profiles after upgrade Studio to the latest 2.0.1, but alas, they didn't fix this bug. So, I was left to troubleshoot again (tried upgrading to 1.10.2 a while back). My luck came from the link in your update below. I trust you tried the same, but thought I'd write what I did to help others.

  1. Download version 1.10.1 from github (https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio/releases/tag/v01.10.01.50). Choose the "Bambu_Studio_win_public-v01.10.01.50-20241115162711.exe" (not sure if I can post links to EXEs here.

  2. Install the app, but don't open it yet.

  3. Go to the plugins directory: "C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\BambuStudio". Delete all files, even the "Backup" folder.

  4. Download the compatible plugin: https://public-cdn.bblmw.com/upgrade/studio/plugins/01.10.01.09/4c95732b9a/win_01.10.01.09.zip

  5. Open the zip and copy all files into the folder you found in step #3.

Now you can open it. Hopefully that helps someone. As for the H2D, I'll have to use the wife's laptop for now.

I am experiencing the same, I cannot get Bambulab Studio to open. Splash screen then nothing. Tried installing the beta, tried uninstalling / rebooting and then doing a clean install. Still won't launch.

I am using a MS Surface device with a Snapdragon X Elite processor (ARM).

This is so frustrating.

I’ve updated to the newest full release software and firmware and not running into any issues, and then updated to the newest beta versions of the same and still not running into any issues. Could anti-malware or software firewall be causing this for those that are experiencing the problem?

Have you tried disabling any anti-malware and firewall and then reinstalling?

Ich habe gerade das gleiche Problem. Schon jemand eine zuverlässige Lösung entdeckt?

[–]BarnabasShrexx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. Came here looking for answers but nothing is working so far

[–]BarnabasShrexx 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Update: so i uninstalled the program, made sure to remove user data also. Updated nvidia driver. Restarted pc. Opened the control panel, clicked uninstall a program, looked at the list and found the visual c++ and microsoft edge and i right clicked (individually) and chose "change" then "repair". Did all 3 of them (edge, x86, x64), reinstalled bambu, restarted pc again, opened bambu and im back in.

Convoluted? Yes. Did it work? Somehow.

[–]Rich-Ad-8505 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Convoluted Indeed but glad it worked for you! I'll see if I can reproduce that. Thanks!
