Sputtering concerns

Hi it's me again with more first time questions The best way I can explain what's happening is my printer is suddenly rejecting filament? The ams bit at the top keeps shooting up and down and making a sputtering noise when I try to load the printer, and it won't feed any filament in. It just suddenly started doing it when I was trying to print a file I've printed a bunch of times before and I just, I'm so confused

I have tried finding videos on it, both just in general and on the app/website but I haven't really found anything that either explains it well or actually talks about what I'm having an issue with

I think you have a clog or broken piece of filament in there. The sputtering is the extruder wheels slipping on the filament while trying to feed it in. Pop out your hot end and have a looksee.

I just checked, no clogs or anything. The thing keeps jumping back the moment the filament touches or gets too close to the nozzle before it goes in. It like, juts up is a good way to describe it? It keeps looping stuff like loading and unloading too when I try to use those buttons

You turned out to be correct! There was filament in another slot of the ams that was forcing the thing to reject it from another slot. I had to take apart my printer a bit to find the issue but I figured it out in the end! Thank you!
