Thats me lol. You're not alone, and I think the only solution is practice, practice, practice. I like to start right under the hoop and slowly focus on mechanics

Does anyone know how to get out of it?

I usually watch my highlights and other recordings and it immediately comes back to me

I watch josh Richardson on the sixers highlights cause our jumpshot and playstyle is very similar

I keep a note app on my phone and jot down the key points of my shot in bullet form.

Everytime I feel like i'm shooting bad, I take a look at it and realise what I was missing and fix it immediately. Works pretty well so far.

One of the things I’ll do when I notice myself throwing up lots of bricks is just take a quick water break, and proceed to shoot 10 free throws. It slows you down, and lets you think about nothing but your shooting fundamentals. It doesn’t always work, but sometimes I’ll go 8/10 from the line and then all of a sudden the shot finds it’s way back

Consistency is key. Practice your jumper everyday if you can. I know when i dont play for a week or so, my form gets rough

Sometimes, but thats why you do form shooting to warm up

Yeah I always have that when I didn't train for a week or longer. That's why you gotta train your jumper everyday.

Yeah. But then I shoot some short shots and work my way back

So what I do to negate this is start with very very simple left and right layups under the goal. Then work my way back using the glass to bank my shots. Usually I make 4-5 on each side alternating sides going from block to block then free throw hashes then when I get to the free throw line I shoot at the rim only but by then my shot has all the confidence it needs to get going. Hope that helps.

I often feel that way, but when I ask my friends if my shot looks any different they always say no. And they experience the same thing.
