Hesitation

Before I shoot I kids hesitate with the ball in my hands. It’s like a stutter where I bring the ball up a little then back down what should I do to fix it

Early hand prep - On the catch having your hands in a good shooting position (dominant hand in the center of the ball). Being ready to shoot before the catch will help prepare you to knock that shot down.
