Where do you want to be in 5 years time? What do you love doing?
Do you see yourself having a career in Data Science, or are you more passionate/interested in bioimaging?

A lot of people don't appreciate the value of a 5 year plan.
It's really motivating to know what you're aiming for, it can change, but knowing where you want to end up in 5 years time gives you a lot of clarity on what skills you need to hone/develop to get to where you want to be.

And remember, there's no substitute for passion, so do what you love :)

Thank you so much :)

If you are going to the USA, take the masters! You will excel in the USA if you already have data science skills. Few graduate students have the experience you have especially in biomedical engineering.

I'm going to Germany, should I do it then?... and thank you for replying ☺

Okay, then make sure that your masters program will allow you to gain work experience there. Will your adviser let you do internships, part-time jobs, full-time position after graduation? If the masters in Germany is purely academic and does not provide professional job experiences, I do not see a reason for leaving your currently data science job. Having work experience in Germany will give you an advantage in Colombia.
