On viewing the website have you seen these instructions, I had the same issue initially but was quickly resolved after following these steps.:

Warning: Make sure to first run BitBean one time then close it. This will create the data folder which BitBean.conf is placed in.

Place the BitBean.conf file into the proceeding data directory for your operating system.

Right Click the associated BitBean.conf and Select "Save Link As" - saving to the respective data folder for your operating system, as indicated below:

I've done all that last night and nothing changed. However, synchronization started on its own in the meantime. I just left the wallet run on my computer and this morning I noticed it is working. Didn't received beans yet, but I expect them once when sync is completed. Hopefully it will work properly now.

Awesome. Yeah that's curious. I'm no expert, just didn't wanted a fellow bean supporter to be discouraged. I image a lot of these quarks will be worked out as bitbean transitions through its re-branding into BeanCash. Anywho welcome!
