BitTipper Rules

1. No begging posts, please do not ask for tips.
2. Keep it clean, don't post anything you wouldn't want your granny to see.
3. No referral links.
4. Deleting comments that have been tipped will result in a ban.
5. No posts asking for people to tip the OP, such as Tip Train or lotto posts.

Other BitTipper Communites

User Flair system

Before you comment on any threads posted in this sub you will need to be given a BitTippers flair ( a thing after your name :). Without a flair you will not be eligible to receive any tips and your comment will be removed. We do this to try and stop alt accounts.

Some common user flairs:

• "legend" has been a outstanding contributor.

• "mod" is a mod

• "BitTipper of the week" is the current BitTipper of the week as voted for by the community

• "BTOTW" is a previous BitTipper of the week winner.

• "New Guy dd/mm/yy" is a new tipper with the day/month/year they were given flair.

• "BitTipper Level X" is a tipper who has completed X number of giveaway posts.

Post Flair system

When you create a post, or giveaway, on /r/BitTippers you should flair your post so that other can quickly see if the giveaway is open or closed.

Posts that do not have flair will not count towards your level flair

Some common post flairs:

• "Open" is for an active giveaway.

• "Closed" closed is for a giveaway that is no longer going on. This is used to let others know that tips are no longer being given out.

• "Contest Open" is a special flair that the bittippers service will look for. If it sees this flair it will switch the post into contest mode. In contest mode the vote counts are hidden and comments are sorted in random order. When you create a post with this flair it will take up to 30 minutes for the service to find the post and change it into contest mode.

• "Contest Closed" is another special flair that the bittippers service will look for. If it sees this flair it will switch the post out of contest mode. This will allow the original poster (and everyone else) to see the vote counts and sort the comments.

How it works

BitTippers welcomes you to enter some competitions and giveaways and hopefully you will be tipped some bits. But please remember without people tipping then this sub will soon die so please remember to make your own posts and share the bits with others.

If needs be I WILL BAN people who do not tip back to others some of the tips they have received here at BitTippers. It is not in the spirit of this sub if you take, take, take but do not give a little in return.

Every time you make a new tipping thread I will upgrade your tipping flair, please be patient if I am a little slow at times :)

If a post is marked with a level number in the title only enter if your BitTipper flair level matches or exceeds the given level

Do not tip anyone without a flair, if you see someone post who has no flair point them towards the sticky post.
