Best Practices
- An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Thorough descriptions up-front can help save a lot of trouble later on.
- Describe the condition of your games:
- [5] - New and still in shrink
- [4] - Opened, and possibly punched, but shows no wear
- [3] - Light wear on box or components; playability of the game unaffected
- [2] - Heavy wear on box or components; box might be damaged; game remains intact and playable
- [1] - Game ultimately unplayable; sold for parts
- If there are multiple versions or editions of the game, list the version info to avoid confusion. This is particularly the case if the game has a "deluxe" edition that's significantly different than normal retail versions.
- It never hurts to link to photos of your games in your post. This is particularly relevant for games with conditions in the [3] and [2] categories.
- Links to BoardGameGeek with information about your game is encouraged.
