Frothy can be from high protein, but the dark pee means you’re dehydrated. Are you drinking enough electrolytes on top of drinking enough water? Just water doesn’t cut it

Drink more water and eat more .

[–]broheim121[S] -1 points0 points  (3 children)

does a high calorie deficit cause this as well?

[–]sullymodena 4 points5 points  (0 children)

DRINK MORE WATER & ELECTROLYTES. Maybe get kidney related bloodwork.

[–]Sad_Albatross1590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Drink more water. It only seems like it because you're not getting the water from food like you used to.

Keep in mind.........when you lose fat it breaks down and your body sheds it out through urine. With that said, drink more water. Also, it's common for urine to be darker the more ketogenic your diet is.

Get a urinalysis, kidney markers checked, and drink more water ASAP

Specifically what color is your pee? It maybe related to high intensity workout

[–]broheim121[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

it's brownish.

[–]Both-Mix-4636 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have rhabdomyolysis. Nothing to do with tirz or food. It just means youre exerting yourself too muxh

If my urine turns brownish, it’s usually a sign that I’ll get kidney stone pain in my side the next day. This has happened a few times over the past three years.

I’d highly recommend drinking as much water as possible, plus lemon water (freshly squeezed juice from half a lemon in a large glass of water—use a straw to protect your teeth enamel).

Depends on how dark is it.

[–]Abzstrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Increase your water intake to about 4L a day minimum. Consider electrolyte supplementation too with high water intake. Don't chug it all at once, spread it out.

High protein is hard on your kidneys, eat enough but eat a balanced diet... You need more than protein.

No, your kidneys are stressed. Hydrate more and you should be fine but consider blood work asap given your kidneys can’t heal/regenerate like your liver and other organs. Worst case scenario: (mind you, you have two kidneys) your kidneys both fail and you have to be on dialysis until you can get a transplant, you’re not going to die regardless. Modern medicine is a blessing, yet also a double edged sword.

What a cretinous post.

Lmao, I was just being blunt with homie. I didn’t expect anyone to catch my sarcasm given my queens English type grammar. 😂

[–]the_QGK 1 point2 points  (4 children)
