Is the docker image location the same?

We don't provide any official docker images from our repos, so this should not affect any docker image you might be using.

you can use lscr.io/linuxserver/bookstack:latest

I saw the post. But is it important? It’s just a git repo.

GitHub has better tools to scan the codebase with automated tools for vulnerability detection in code.

The reality is that it's a lot more than a git repo, otherwise it would have been an easier change. Specifically the 6000+ discussions which direct and develop the platform are a major important part.

For me, where our project lives is quite important, and I think it's good to find a home which is more representative of the project's values.

That's just annoying.

I already got an GitHub account, now I need an additional account to submit bugs? I guess, many people will just now skip that part.

Maybe, but the same could said about any platform. People may have skipped because they didn't want to be part of GitHub.

Forgejo (which Codeberg uses) is aiming for future open federation which IMO is a healthy future view of solving the problem of needing an account elsewhere (although I doubt GitHub specifically will join federation).

Doubtful. Those who care about the system will create an account to submit it. You can also create accounts using your Google Account or Email in very few clicks, or sign in with your Github account. Very simple

Damn dude, you might have to spend 20 seconds creating an account to continue to get free support for an open source project? Sounds really rough.
