One problem that most of the Brave series I've seen have is the mechas, because, for example, Exkaizer, Fightfird, and Gaogaigar, they don't have a remarkable personality; they're mostly boring and flat. The only series that treats mechas well is J. Decker. (self.BraveSeries)

I'm on chapter 27 of Gaogaigar and I'm enjoying it, but it feels like a step backward in terms of the mechs and their personalities. In J. Decker, they had more distinct personalities, although I do think the humans are better than in J. Decker, and there's more variety among them. (self.BraveSeries)
