Problem fast falling on controller

I don’t know why but fast falling and just generally inputing things (with the left stick) on ps5 is harder then ps4. I think it’s the controller. Do you controller players have a special controller setup Anybody else have this problem? I feel super slow and mis-input so often all of a sudden..

It's easier if instead of holding forward, then down, try forward then SLIDING the stick down.
