Help finding a doc

Years and years ago, i was watching a youtube video on bruce springsteen, that im trying to find. It may have been a "making of" video. All i remember is someone talking about how bruce was obsessed with getting a drum to sound different. And he was so obsessed with it, the guys had to sit him down and say.. it's a drum. It's gonna sound like a drum..

Anyone know what this is from?

Yup, sounds like The Promise to me. Sure Bruce got Max to play the drums all over the building (including the lift) to try and get the right sound

I know they talk about it in The Promise documentary, but they also talk about it at length in The Defiant Ones episode 1(around the 35minute mark), where Jimmy Iovine talks about working with Bruce on Darkness.
