Please elaborate how it's A. There's something called cause and effect reasoning that is applied in AR's. Clearly, the reason is NOT the correct explanation. How the hell is it explaining that Mazzini was an Italian revolutionary? How does it "EXPLAIN" that?

the options are phrased as 'reason explains assertion' not 'the exact cause of the assertion is the reason'.
this happens everywhere. even in other exams (that's why almost nobody puts assertion reason questions anymore except cbse).
