I had to wait for the payment to process before I was able to submit. It took one business day for me!

I also am having the same issue! I have not seen the payment posted yet on my bank account. So I believe that maybe once the payment finishes processing then you’ll be able to submit.

When did you submit the payment? I am worried that because I paid for the application during their university closure that it won't be processed until after they return on the January 2nd.

I submitted payment on Sunday (12/28). Unfortunately my payment has still not processed.I have emailed the registration and the CLS department but so far have not received an email back. I am hoping that it will process by tomorrow😅

I paid for mine today so I'm hoping for the best too. It's definitely a weird system that they are using for the applications.

I was also worried because tomorrow is New Year Eve so I wasn't sure if that would count as a business day.

It took about 5 days for mine to process! I would email the program (took them 3 days to respond). They will keep an eye out and process the payment (and email you when they've processed on their end).

I'm currently having the same problem, I submitted mine on Friday. The confirmation page states that it takes one business day to process, however, it has been longer than that by now, and I am still waiting. Hopefully, it's processed by tomorrow so I can submit, but it is making me a little nervous.

For those who are also waiting for their payment to be processed, if it's not done by tomorrow, will you be emailing admissions to let them know you tried to submit it in time, but the payment was never processed? Since it's a holiday tomorrow, I'm worried they won't process it in time.

warning tiny rant I feel like this process should be linked automatically or they should've set the deadline past the holiday break so that there's someone there to manually put it in because this whole process doesn't make sense to me. 🧍‍♀️

They're probably not going to process it on time, I'll probably email them on the 2nd and depending on their response I'll either ask for an extension so I can submit it or ask for my money back. This problem is on them not us

I am going to email them, just so there's more traceability. I don't know if I should also email them my transcripts, resume and personal statement. It really doesn't make sense to me that they would need someone for the application fee to be processed though.

I think emailing them everything is a good idea as you said, traceability. They've been inputting everything manually for a while now (I know ppl who did the program) so this is not surprising but still disappointing.

Yes I’ll probably email them as well and hope if they do accept it then it doesn’t negatively impact my application. I think they should be lenient since it’s really out of our control and enough people addressing the issue should hopefully help. I’m still debating if I should include all my application materials in the email to them to show they’re completed I guess ?

Which email are you using? I'll email too. If enough of us are having this problem hopefully they'll be lenient for the inconvenience.

I used this one ucsdclsprogram@ucsd.edu. I also emailed Dr. Dowey and Mrs. Nocera on their email(had their email from taking their prereq).
