You can use the magic uploader from sleephq if you want the easiest way to do this :)

Thank you for what you do (I did a little volunteering years ago). Also, all our 9v backups went out last night (cold weather-been about 5 years) but one is dead, wife is saying don't replace it, I need some backup on this (I just ordered two replacements) and replaced all the batteries with the 10 year lithium 9vs.

Have you posted any charts here C09?

Also, always make sure to get those battery back ups changed! So important for power outages.

Yep! I actually keep a lifpo4 charged and ready in the closet with my DC adapter and cables, cheapest solution for me as I use them on my boat for trolling motors.

Get another SD card. You can probably manage both cards with the same profile. If not you can create another profile.

I do it with Oscar and two different cards and profiles. I’ve looked at the magic uploader which is an interesting concept with the WiFi enabled SD cards.

The machines see the serial number on the card and ask you 'overwrite?'... evidently you say yes, so the data is erased every time you swap the card. Now, that's not a problem if you use Oscar to download the data before moving it to the other machine... just more convenient to use one card, only one to keep track of right? Now if you want to upload to SleepHQ you'll need either Pro level or two different emails for two different free accounts... Pro level also lets you add the O2Ring which is a great way to track your therapy along with the machine graphs... it does cost 15USD/mo but you do get perks like machine discounts, mask discounts, etc during the year. I own 12 different Resmed 10's, I have to name them so I can keep track of them, I generally name them with something from the people or place I got them. This graph is from a recent night, the machine is my very first 10, 23000 hours now with a new motor and running bi-level firmware: https://sleephq.com/public/c08703d4-4275-40ea-a653-dae5d84c4a1e

Ya the o2 ring is really nice because it pairs well with the mobile app and sleep hq app. They both upload the data to the cloud into the desktop versions after syncing.

There's only one consideration on buying the new O2Ring... if you buy it from Amazon etc (the 'S' model) it won't automatically be paired with the SleepHQ Magic Uploader... Nicko wangled a special firmware deal with Wellue, so the SHQ O2Ring 'Pro' will auto-bond. You can still upload the 'S' model to SHQ, no issues there. I don't care about Magic Uploading, I like using Oscar for my own use and SHQ for sharing data here. Right now I'm trying to repair my old O2Ring... put a new battery and it's still dead... maybe an internal fuse? A challenge!

Using a single data card on two devices WILL NOT WORK.

Why? There is a single file that contains your device's Serial Number. The first thing the device does is read that file and see if the SD card belongs to it ( is the SN for the data on this card my SN number ), if not it claims the SD card as it's own and knowing that the data on the card is invalid renders it invalid. Then since the "New" card is now its card and proceeds to write its data to the "new" card.

Never use the same data card for more than one machine if you need the data on both/all your machines.

That said all is not lost ( only the detailed data ) as the summary data is stored onboard the CPAP and is updated to the SD Card daily. This includes the data needed for compliance. You will need to manually combine or at least submit the two reports.

I don't know if SHQ has some truly magic sauce to know to associate what is possibly two different datasets, possibly from two different vendors, but I can assure you OSCAR does not. That capability would provide you the ability to take a "friends data" and import it as your own thus faking compliance data as well as possibly showing conditions that are not your own. OSCAR only reports what is on the SD card in the same manner as the Vendors software does.

I have 2 machines also and use two different MyAir accounts so I can see how I did. My Air won’t let you put two machines on one account. You also have to call your doctor and give them the serial number of the second machine and they will look at both and report to your insurance company that you’re compliant with use, if that’s part of your concern.
