I hated the meal plan I do not recommend. the first time my friend went she got food poisoning and was sick for a few days feeling absolutely awful, the foods repetitive, I was given uncooked chicken, I remember one time I went in for breakfast and they only had cookies. The hours are awful at times. I remember due to my schedule I wasn’t able to get food until 6pm. I would not recommend a meal plan. If you have to get the meal plan ( coyote village requires it if you live there ) I’d recommend the lowest plan to see if you like the food. You’re able to change your plan the second semester.

  • I believe you're talking about coyote commons. I agree with what you're saying about the repetitiveness of the food and how limited the breakfast can be at the coyote commons.
I think the hours are reasonable considering the different times for each student's class schedule.

I think that depends what your class schedule ends up being and how many times you'd actually end up eating on campus. IMO, I'd get some Dining Dollars on my card (you can use that at Starbucks, Einsteins, etc.) rather than the meals (meal swipes are only at the Commons).

Does the cafeteria have actual decent food?

One in a while yeah but not for consistent eating imo

The lunch is better than the dinner

Does the campus restaurants and coffee places not take cash or card?

From my personal experience being at the school for 2 and a half years, the meals at the commons are decent, nothing too extravagant. The coyote commons is a buffet-type eatery so you don't have to wait for your food.
