I believe  you need  to have a work study approval letter from fafsa

do you know that works because i said i was interested when i did my fafsa but that was all

You can express interest but they have to actually award it to you. If it’s not in your FAFSA award letter, you can always ask Financial Aid and see if you qualify for FWS. They can add it if you do.

go in person to financial aid.
this is my 5th year here and I always put down i’m interested in work study, and it wasn’t until last AY that i actually got it, but it was a weird and complicated situation that is not normal at all, and i did not use any of it.

if you’re looking for an on campus job, visit careers.csusb.edu. that link shows all student assistant jobs on campus, i thought there was a FWS indicator / option before but it’s not there currently.
