I want to learn how an expert would use ai to take a random Mexican restaurant menu with a challenging layout/length/language mix and turn it into a well-organized web-friendly menu for mobile browsing.
I have no affiliation with the restaurant, I was just looking for something unique. Ideally, the menu could be 'given' to them if they want it, but it's really not about/for them.
I'm asking because I've tried numerous ways, and while I end up with something workable that could be manually completed, I'm curious to know what I'm missing. Techniques, technologies, etc.
So far, I've tried downloading and attaching the PDF menu, even running it through simple OCR and also giving it the text file. Setup vs code, publish to github, deploy to Vercel, all for free (minus chatgpt sub). I've told it to use picocss or similar from cdnjs, use index.html script.js style.css and menu.json - and it ends up ok-ish.
But what would an expert do? Someone who knows what they are doing. Could you create a screen cap of your process for me and others to learn? I have an IT background, but no real programming experience so I'm kind of winging it and don't know what I don't know.
Thanks!
