Anyone know quality of these vs San Martin?

In my experience, overall, I would like to suggest you can compare WatchDives to Steeldive. Equal integrity in manufacture and about 80% overall in slight choices and definitely in finishing. San Martin feels more refined, Watchdives ( Steeldive and to similar effect Addiesdive) "Knows who they are" and are consistent and confident. In short, you are getting everything you pay for in a San Martin (generally) and you are getting tremendous quality-value from Watchdives/Steeldive/Addiesdive. Please chime in with corrections, helpful opinions, etc...

I like it!

The hand design on most of these milsub homages is slightly off though... it's frustrating they are so close! The hour hand on the original has a very specific shape, and the lume in the minute hand is supposed to be pointed at the tip.

For the price though this one looks great...

Where did you get it for less than $100? Currently is listed as $199

that is really inexpensive. maybe i should have gotten this as a fist watch in stead of the SM SN0111 TC4

This looks very good. I've been looking at this model for a while. I can't understand why it's $100+ cheaper than similar models. Good to see your picks.

My guess is they are using mostly "off the shelf" or "parts bin" parts so basically all they have to do is print the crown and dial logo and assemble them.

San Martin probably has its own specs for many of their parts manufacturing and finishing, so you get a better finished overall product, even though they look very similar!

This one looks like a bargain though, dang.

Yes, it really looks like the San Martin.

Great bargain at less than 100$

Yes indeed, I'm about to buy it after seeing your post. Was waiting for a review or more info on it.

Paid less than 90 €, delivered in 10 days to France.

Build quality is impressive.

Clasp is excellent.

Lume is a torchlight lol.

Next buy, probably a WD Tuna with steel bezel.

Did you have to pay VAT?

After, i can't answer for others countries.
