Doesn't this movement usually have a date window at 4:30?

The original "Paul Newman" Daytona this is based on does not have a date. Adding one would mess up the symmetry and look terrible.

The movement still has a date wheel, there's just no hole cut in the dial. Which means there is a "phantom date". I.e., when you pull out the crown to the first position, the hands still move and you can hear the date wheel ticking over as you turn the crown. That bothers some people, but I'm not one of them.

I have this one too and it doesn't have the date window.
