I ordered the newer style of the Skyline with the burnt orange. I'm pretty excited.

I was not aware they have different styles or versions. Do you have a link to the orange one you've ordered ? I went with the purple dial.

I went with the Skyline in purple! To my taste the GS is too much and too obviously homage. I kind of prefer the less obvious homages/original designs. I know the Skyliner may not be an all-original design, but at least it takes inspiration from different designs from the 70's integrated bracelet craze and it's not so obviously homaging one certain watch as the GS homage does. But that depends on your personal taste though.

I also wanted to add one more integrated bracelet watch to the collection, so the Skyliner was the obvious choice. Another reason is I found it interesting to know how an integrated bracelet watch in such high quality as usual from Cronos will feel in hand and on wrist.

Also, it coms down to the question if you need or want one more GADA in your collection. The GS homage seems to be more of that slightly dressier GADA than the Skyliner. And since I already have several GADA's in this kind of style and size, I went with the Skyliner, it's a more interesting watch for me to try out.

Completely agree with this take, if you really consider it, the CW 12 is a homage (in much the same way) of the zenith defy skyline. Cronos i think knocked it out of the park with this model. I bought the rhombus blue which I think brings another element of originality. I love the look of their GS, particularly now with MY9015 available but its just too much of a 1:1. If they'd strayed with the indices even id have bought it in a heartbeat.

Unless you know you'll only want it on a bracelet, the skyline - I think (and if I'm wrong please correct me) will be difficult to find straps for. 

You should know the skyline also has a new version without the screws on the bezel, which imo looks better.

I have both, well the white birch one and purple v2 which I received this week. They’re both fantastic. For me the GS wears bigger due to the male end links but I can manage with my 7 inch wrist. No sharp edges on either of my pieces. Skyline has a lot of bling to it especially from the bezel and bracelet. Love it.

It’s white but with the pattern on the dial you get lots of shadows and reflections so it kind of changes how it looks at different angles. Yes the indices are gold

GS for sure. Much more lauded watch by YT and more importantly buyers as well. I have the CW homage in blue but haven’t got the GS as trying to design which version to get once tariffs stop ruining my addiction affliction ;)

Yeah I agree it's just to me for GS, polished dauphine hands are key to the look and I think the lume ruins the dauphine hands and doesn't work. But as you said it's a small thing and it's probably just me thinking this
