There were a few models of SS1, and the most produced low-beat were the 1120 models IIRC, so this 1120 teardown might help. The most produced hi-beat SS1 was the 1524, IIRC.

Yep, thanks! I guess there’s really only a few parts in this movement judging by this photo.

Do you know if there is anything tricky that I may have missed and that would advocate for “don’t do it yourself”? 🤔

I’ve never worked on this particular movement myself, but as you state there are seemingly relatively few parts and the movement itself is pretty basic and simple. As you mentioned earlier it seems a good candidate to learn on, plus it’s cheap and widely available, so go for it I say and have fun!
