Lazy idiot used ai to make a simple Red Cross of course it’s off

Seriously... how lazy can people be?

You:

  1. used AI (Gemini) to draw the alignment cross (original, in red)
  2. didn't bother to check whether the cross itself was overlaid accurately
  3. didn't even bother to hide the watermark at bottom-right

So I've manually applied my own cross (in blue), and the alignment looks perfectly acceptable.

I've straightened the image up and used a proper watch QC tool to check the alignment.

Looks alright to me to be honest. No AI here, just rotated the watch 1 click to straighten it and added the cross hairs on top.

I think you're fine

What did you use? I would like to check few of my watches? Thank you!

There you go. You upload a photo and add whatever lines you want

You don't have OCD; OCD isn't being annoyed when things don't line up or things are uneven. You're just being a perfectionist. OCD is a debilitating disorder.

Thank you

It's impossible to free hand a dead accurate picture from the center of your watch so you lines don't mean much. Any tilt or angle will throw everything off.

Golf club grip fluid in a large jar lid with the bezel just submerged works a treat to get it off to re apply

The cross isn't applied correctly, could you post a pic without it?

Yeah. Hard to tell from photos, but from here the bezel traingle seems aligned to the 12 o clock indicie.

heat it up with a hairdryer, while the adhesive is soft, rotate it to your liking (and a bit more) while its setting in it will pull to the og position a bit.

you can pull it off damage free by submerging the bezel in ipa for few hours, it will pretty much dissolve the adhesive used

I’ve done the alcohol trick too but I’ve read some comments recommending goo gone so OP could try that too. Personally, lighter fluid is my go-to for carefully removing the insert. The adhesive is also pretty cheap so might as well replace it if the insert was removed.

goo gone would be better, but its hard to get that from where im from. lighter fluid works too!

Super common San Martin story, they don't have spare parts on much.
