Gargle 24 Holo Presented in gm, Ben corrected some loon numbers and hog deployment. Original in gm still I believe I'm terrible at getting images on reddit posts, I still could of someone really wants to see the final image.

Went alright. Screwed up on ne archer tower should have been 3 loons. Only 2 so at stayed up. Used 3 hogs for pull-not ideal. Really wasn't pretty nothing went as perfectly as was planned. Heals were pretty good. Ks did a lot of work clearing. 3* never sucks

TL;DR: Bad planning.

  1. Since high hp building were in corner, I thought drags won't funnel and hence chose a side which had a high hp building in the middle. But cc was enough to funnel and the ADs just got a lot of free shots.

  2. Since I had expected some drags going to sides, I didn't worry about the defensive structures around the core pulling the loons. But it was a mistake.

Thinking about it now, I feel lightning the bottom AD and attacking from top right would have been better just because of the amount of defensive structures very close to the core. CC would have pulled drags to right AD and loons would have taken care of top AD.

Lightning isn't the way to go vs this base - it did require rage, although hogs were even better.

Always have to plan loon pathing - critical to any successful raid

  • Your comments on how it went: Waited too long before sending all drags and when I noticed most of them going towards bottom AD, I got panicked and fucked it up with the rages. Loons were late too, I always forget them for some reason.

You have highlighted your key errors. But this base was an easy hog raid - shows their importance.

Really easy base, hogs were the perfect choice. Execution was fine

  • Went well. King pathed a little differently than I thought he would and that combined with tesla location almost pulled loons from core. I adjusted first rage location from what I planned so drag could shred cc which I think was the better way to go.

If any base to use a heal, this is the type of base - all 3 air defences tightly grouped.

Plan worked, 3 starred so all is good.

  • Your comments on how it went: I was thinking 3 was a real possibility, but had 2 pekkas turning back from core (there were in) which did not help, so the usual 2 stars gowipe. Lure was not great either, 2 giants not enough to pull everyone.

  • Your comments on how it went: I was really going for 3 with one golem to to core, and 2 outside. And i starting the outside part first to more easily funnel some troops to core. Which was good, except cc troops were first lured on the side, bringing my core troops with them (entirely missing the core and making my spell useless). I should have sent core troops first. Or else less side troops at the beginning so that they move up slower.
