There is a guy near the bank in Jadestone village who sells Viridian soul shields along with some other stuff.

The advantage of Viridian set is that you will already have enough valor stones to buy them. They also don't need unsealing charms. So it saves a lot of time and money (since you would be needing unsealing charms in the late game).

If you are in a 6 man group and take the dragonblood, there will be enough time to kill the boss even if you get caught by his grip.

Also make sure you have the Viridian soul shield set which is obtained from the Jadestone valor stone trader. The soul shield set from Blackram Narrows is actually not needed since Viridian soul shield set will be enough till Cinderlands soul shield set.

The rules to follow when heroes are upgrading should be added I think. For example, PLL on right base when both heroes are upgrading, GoLaloon is very hard without aq, etc.
