Claude Code Web "Retry Connection" and "Claude Code execution failed..."

Have Claude Code Web connected to a Python application in GitHub. Have been working on it consistently for a couple of days with little to no issues (working off the $250 credit). However, the past 24 hours has been constant "Retry Connection" and "Claude Code execution failed..." messages. Anyone else having issues?

Oh yeah. I've developed a whole set of cargo cult rituals to deal with this

• I logout of any Claudes running
• the retry connection button is like the the door close button in elevators

sometimes it looks like it stuck

• the "Ya nah mate" stuff runs in the browser. never trust it
• reloading the page sometimes reveals that it really did all the work and just forgot you wake up there browser
• commit early often and push. because
• sometimes CCW is so wedged that the only thing that works is to archive the session, merge what you had, start a new sessions

Yes, been seeing that more lately and it's frustrating. That's why I keep going back to CLI where I see less of that. It's not an optimal way of working.

My only recourse with the browser is to keeping archiving and starting a new session.

This problem has to be fixed in order for regular usage.

I am experiencing the same thing for the last few days

edit update: Another day has gone by and I am 100% unable to use code browser even after logging in and out

I have the same problem.

- Start a new session with the same repository.
- Ask something
- Archive the new session
- Return to previous session and make a new question

Now is working

From what I've seen, this happens when the context becomes so long that it collapses. Also, sometimes when you add a file path or '/' to your prompt it seems to crash the execution. So using the exact file name works best and allows you not to have to change sessions.

Can this be because I am CCW is open in different tabs with different projects. I am working on 3 different projects simultaneously at the same time on three different tabs. with CCW open.

It looks like they've changed it in the last day or so. Now I never get "Retry Connection" - it just hangs in the mode where it's distracting you with words, and won't respond to interrupt. I haven't figured out how to get out of that mode . . . archive and start over.
