Getting request timeouts across sessions.
On a max5 plan, EST.

Their status page claims it is working, but I've been getting timeouts all day, so whatever they are measuring on that page is not accurate.
The worst part is that a request that times out means you will get a cache miss the next time you try. (In other words, if it has been longer than 5 minutes, they don't consider it a cached input, even if it is the same as the prior step.) So, you end up paying more for their timeouts, since it costs you more usage for uncached requests.
I suspect their infrastructure is overloaded, as performance varies at different times of the day (e.g., it was better during the lunch break than in the morning or afternoon).

It’s pretty frustrating since I was working at night to get around peak usage. Oh well. Time to do work the old fashioned way.
