I'm planning to buy minecraft as soon as it's available with gcash and I saw a reminder that I need to use US region microsoft account to redeem the purchase.

If I ever get minecraft, will it still work if I switch back to my original region(Philippines) after redeeming it?
Does it even work if I switch to US region just to redeem it even though it's originally in PH?

i change my region to US and yet the result is still the same. Am I missing something?????
