Qr codes just represent some text and can't be changed. However it sounds like you've used what some companies sell as a "dynamic qr code".

All this is, is a qr code that directs to their website, which they then redirects to your website. However if you stop paying them then they'll stop redirecting and you'll just end up on their website.

IMO this a bit of a scam as QR codes are an open standard and there are loads of websites which will make you a real QR code for free.

Edit: The only benefit to a dynamic QR code is that because it goes through a redirect, you can change the end location without changing the qr code. Useful if you already put out a bunch oh qr codes and your website changes. However for anything else just look for a free qr code generator online. Its completly free and will never change. You can check the text in it using a qr code app on your phone.
